Since 1988, we have produced <strong>safety data sheets<\/strong> for dangerous substances and materials in use or under the consideration for use. <strong>The safety data sheets<\/strong> are written material to support the local risk assessments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Why does the classification\/labeling not always follow the Harmonized List?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>Even if a substance is included on the Harmonized List, this classification represents the minimum labeling requirements. Additional Hazard-phrases may be added if there is documentation to support this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Why does Kemibrug not label products as indicated by the supplier?<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>In the event of a discrepancy between the supplier&#8217;s labeling and the CLP regulations, Kemibrug will contact the supplier for the preparation of a safety data sheet which is in accordance with Kemibrug&#8217;s assessment. Kemibrug is an impartial party and we evaluate the substances according to the data to which we have access. The suppliers will sometimes maintain their assessment, which will give the difference in the labeling. For substances with CAS no., a joint <strong>KBA<\/strong> is produced, collecting information from several suppliers and finding the one that best matches Kemibrug&#8217;s assessment. Products, without a CAS no., are produced based on a specific SDS from a named supplier, and the KBA refers directly to this supplier. The suppliers will sometimes maintain their assessment, which will give the difference in the labeling. For substances with CAS no., a joint <strong>KBA<\\\/strong> is produced, collecting information from several suppliers and finding the one that best matches Kemibrug's assessment. Products, without a CAS no., are produced based on a specific SDS from a named supplier, and the KBA refers directly to this supplier.
