Kemibrug’s mission is to offer knowledge and resources for appropriate behavior when working with chemicals, while at the same time protecting people and the environment from negative impact <\/span>caused by chemicals.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

We are passionate about the working environment and ensuring that all employees can work safely with chemicals and return home safely. Our team has a background in practical work with chemicals and understands the depth and seriousness of this work. Our values \u200b\u200bare rooted in our passion for the working environment, our desire to share knowledge and our dedication to protecting both people and the environment.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

With focus on the future, we are actively working on developing a new and improved version of the Kemibrug database. Emphasis is placed on the need for a smooth transition to the new system, while focusing on introducing user-friendliness to ensure an efficient and problem-free work process for users.<\/o:p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Story <\/a>Behind It<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Kemibrug has its roots in a visionary idea from the 1980s, devised by a passionate group at the Technical University of Denmark in Lyngby. Then as now, the goal was to support research and education by ensuring safe and regulatory-compliant handling of chemicals.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Over the years, the project grew from a local solution to a nationwide resource when the University of Southern Denmark, Aalborg University and the University of Copenhagen joined the collaboration. This cross-institutional collaboration has not only strengthened Kemibrug’s foundation but also expanded its reach and depth.<\/o:p><\/p>\n

From its original purpose of ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, Kemibrug has developed into a comprehensive and vital chemical database that today serves as an invaluable resource for researchers, students and safety personnel across the country’s educational institutions. With an ever-developing database and new technological solutions, Kemibrug contributes to shaping future safety standards in the research and education sector.<\/o:p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kemibrug er en kemikaliedatabase, der udg\u00f8r en vigtig ressource for enhver, der arbejder med kemikalier, og fungerer som et v\u00e6rdifuldt v\u00e6rkt\u00f8j til b\u00e5de at sikre overholdelse af regler og fremme sikkerheden inden for kemisk h\u00e5ndtering og brug.<\/span><\/p>\n

Platformen best\u00e5r af tre centrale elementer: en omfattende database med over 20.000 kemikaliebrugsanvisninger, muligheden for at tilf\u00f8je lokale vejledninger og regler samt et system til registrering af kemikalieoplag.<\/span><\/p>\n

Udover dette muligg\u00f8r Kemibrug s\u00f8gninger for at identificere stoffer underlagt s\u00e6rlige regler, s\u00e5som brandfare eller kr\u00e6ftfremkaldende egenskaber. Denne omfattende information kan ogs\u00e5 v\u00e6re til hj\u00e6lp ved udarbejdelse af kemiske risikovurderinger. Form\u00e5let med Kemibrug er at hj\u00e6lpe brugerne med at overholde arbejdsmilj\u00f8lovgivningen ved at tilbyde let adgang til dokumentation for de kemikalier, der anvendes lokalt.
